MES is very proud that we received a Platinum Award at the Impumelelo Innovations Awards in May 2008 for making an impact on poverty. MES also was awarded the Halala Award for “Caring for Johannesburg” and a runner-up for the Mail & Guardian Award in the category “Initiators of Change” in 2009.
