The post-budget breakfast hosted by MES and AHI on the 23rd of Feb was well attended and hailed a great success!
Many economists and professionals alike adorned the panel discussion that was hosted by Cobus Bester live on RSG's Monitor program. The panel included experts from Sanlam, University of Stellenbosch and Webber Wentzel & Assoc.
MES Hyenas chess club leader, Stephen Skosana, recently drew with international grandmaster Garry Kasparov during his recent visit to Southern Africa in a simultaneous exhibition game.
The event was held in front of local and international media and features 30 local chess players who played a simultaneous match against Kasparov at the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre in Newtown last Sunday morning.
