MES’s after school programme assists young school children with homework and studying for tests and exams. In most cases these children need assistance due to the circumstances which they come from i.e. illiterate parents, working parents, foreign parents that don’t speak English or Afrikaans well enough, etc. The children currently part of the programme attend various schools in the Bellville area.
